How to use iTunes to rip CD to MP3
First, you need to check and configure your iTunes settings for the CD ripping. Click Edit from the main menu and choose Preference > General and choose "Ask to Import CD" from the drop-down menu of "When you insert a CD".
To rip CD to MP3, select "Import Settings" and choose "MP3 Encoder" for "Import Using" and set the output quality of the MP3 files. You can choose "Use error correction when reading Audio CDs' to ensure the rip quality. After you finished the settings, click "OK" to save the settings.
Now insert the music CD to your computer's hard drive. A window will pop up, asking you whether you'd like to import the CD into your iTunes library. Click "Yes" to go on.
Tips: If this window doesn't show up, you can click the CD icon on the left side bar and then you will see the CD songs on iTunes' main window. And then click the "Import CD" button on the bottom left to add the tracks to your iTunes library.
A window will show you the importing process. And on the main window, the green check shows the song has been imported while the orange circle means the song in currently importing.
After it's finished, you can find the songs in MP3 formats in your iTunes library. Just transfer them to your MP3 players and enjoy them on the go.
Tips:

ITunes is a very complicated software for those who are not accustomed to it. But this is a platform which helps us to transfer iTunes into Cd’s very easily.
Why did I not think of searching for this solution before? I'm a child of 70's and I grew up with the music from the 80's and the 90's.
