Are you looking for a quick and easy method of transferring music from iPad to Computer? Well, then we have a suggestion for you! In fact, we have three suggestions. One of which is going to be using our most recommended product — the iMusic transfer tool, the second the traditional iTunes method of copying music from iPad to Computer, and the last another popular software (called MobiMover) known for easily transferring songs/videos from iDevice to Computer. So, if you want to learn about any of these programs, make sure that you continue reading until the very end!
As mentioned, we’re going to be starting this out with our favorite method of transferring music from iPad to Computer, and that is through the iMusic transfer software. Well, we call it a ‘transfer’ software, but it’s actually much more than that (as our list of features would suggest.) It’s a music/video downloader, library manager, transfer tool, backup tool, etc. Of course, we’re only going to be exploring how you can use this to transfer music from iPad to Computer today, but if you want — you can explore its other options by downloading its FREE trial version.
To start, you will need to connect your iPad to your computer and then start up the iMusic software. When you open it, you’ll be on the ‘Get Music’ tab by default, move to the DEVICE tab (1) in order to see the options that are shown in the screen capture below.
Just from looking at the options, you can probably tell which one we’re going to be using today. If not, the one that you need to click is the first option ‘Transfer Music to iTunes’ (2.)
A second window will appear called ‘Copy from Device to iTunes.’ This first message that appears is just information on what iMusic is going to do — that is, scan your device and your iTunes library to see what needs to be copied.
Press the Start button so that iMusic can start scanning your device and your computer.
Once the different files between both your iPad and Computer have been scanned, click the Copy to iTunes button so that it all the music on your iPad will be moved to your computer!
Next, we’re going to go ‘basic’ by using iTunes to transfer our music. We call this basic, but it can actually be pretty difficult to do if you’re not familiar with iTunes and its special settings — which is what we’re going to be playing with so that we know that our music will automatically be copied from iPad to Computer! You should be able to follow our tutorial if you have the recent iTunes software installed and your iPad already connected to your computer (be it through a USB cable or a through shared Wi-Fi Connection.)
As mentioned, we’re going to be playing with your iPad sync settings in order to be able to do this, which you can do by clicking the iPad icon that we have pointed out in the image below.
To be able to copy music from your iPad to your computer, turn on the Sync Music options under your “Music” Settings.
If you get the following message, don’t panic. This is a message informing you that there are some non-apple songs on your iPad that doesn’t already match with what’s on your iTunes library. It will delete this if you click the Remove and Sync button.
Now that you’ve turned on the “Sync Music” option, make sure to save your settings by clicking Apply and you should now be able to use the iTunes overall ‘Sync’ option to copy the music on your iPad to your Computer.
Note: Of course, iTunes won’t necessarily copy all the songs on your iPad to your Computer (especially non-Apple Music songs.) So, be careful about that. As mentioned, ‘Remove and Sync’ will automatically delete any song that is not from the Apple Music Store or not already on your iTunes library.
For this last iPad to Computer transfer solution, we have the EaseUS MobiMover program. This is, pretty similar to iMusic, a transfer tool that you can use in order to quickly and easily get your music/videos from your device to your Computer. The process of which we’re going to be showing you in more detail in the tutorial below. To follow along, you will need to have the MobiMover program installed and you should already have your iPad connected to your PC (via USB cable.)
When you first launch MobiMover, you get three options. The option that we’re going to be selecting in order to copy songs from iPad to our Computer is the iDevice to PC option (highlighted in the image below.)
Next, make sure that you have the correct iPad and Computer selected. Then, pick from the available icons that you want to transfer (Photos/Audio/Video/More.) These are all preselected, so all you really need to do to move music from iPad to your computer is by pressing the Transfer button!
MobiMover should immediately start transferring the songs on your iPad to your computer.
Conclusion: This concludes our quick run-through on 3 helpful ways that you can use to transfer music from your iPad to your Computer. Feel free to try these out as you please.
