To facilite your use of Aimersoft Music Recorder, Below lists 2 essential parts for you to get a quick start: How to record online audio and How to create ringtone.
Part 1. How to record online audio
Download and install Aimersoft Music Recorder in your computer. Now follow the steps below to start to capture streaming audio. This audio recording software supports grabbing audio from various online radio stations and video sharing sites. Please keep the online network open during the recording.
Click the Settings button on top of the window and choose your target output audio format (here M4A and MP3 are available for your choice). You can customize the audio sample rate, encoder and bit rate as you like.
To record entire song no more and no less, you can set the recording control preference, which let you record songs one by one. Set the value of the silence time duration, the recorder will save songs one after one. Set the minimum track length, it will automatically filter out the tracks that are smaller than the minimum one. This recorder will automatically identify the songs ID3 tags if you tick the "Auto-identify ID3 info" option.
Run this music recorder and click the Record button, which means it is ready to begin the recording process. Now just search for the audio you want to record online and play it as usual. The audio recorder will begin recording the playing audio immediately.
When all the audio you want have been successfully recorded, you can add them to iTunes or your playlists. Check your files in the Library tab and right-click the file to choose "Add to iTunes Library" or click the “Add to iTunes” button on bottom. If you want to create a playlist, please click the "+" button on left bottom of the window. To view the audio information, you can click the "View Detail" button on the right bottom.
Part 2: How to create ringtone
Aimersoft Music Recorder is also able to change the recorded music to ringtone in M4R format for iPhone (or in MP3 format for other phones). The maximum length of a single ringtone is 40s while the minimum is 1s. Let’s see how to create ringtone only with a few simple clicks:
Choose the source music that you want to change to ringtone, click the blue bell icon beside the file. Adjust the length by sliding the audio band. Tick “Fade in and fade out” option if needed. Preview the ringtone before clicking the Save button. Designate the ringtone format and click OK to begin creating a new ringtone. The newly born ringtone can also be added to iTunes.
