How to convert dual layer DVD to video/audio
Note that this guide uses Aimersoft DVD Ripper for Windows screenshots to better describe how to finish ripping dual layer DVDs. The way to do this on Mac is the same. So just make sure you get the right version.
1Load DVD files
Insert your dual layer DVD disc to the DVD drive and run DVD Ripper. The click the "Load DVD" button to add the DVD movies you want to rip for the DVD disc. As you can see, added files can be previewed on the right viewing window.
2Specify output profiles
Then select the video/audio format you prefer as the output format. As you can see, you can choose from "Common Video"/"Common Audio"/"HD Video" to convert dual layer DVD to MP4, MOV, MKV, FLV, AVI, WMV, MP3, WMA, OGG, etc. or choose a video preset from "Apple", "HTC", "Nokia", "Motorola", etc. to get videos with optimized settings for a certain device.
3Start ripping the dual layer DVD
