Instruction on How to Remove Sound from a YouTube Video
1. Import the YouTube videos
First and foremost, you need to run the Video Editor and click Import to find and add the target videos. If you like, you can also drag the files directly from your local drive to the program. All the loaded videos will be listed inside the User's Album. You can play and watch them in the Preview window and take snapshots as you wish.
2. Get rid of the audio track
The Timeline Panel is for you to remove the audio track. Therefore, you need to drag the target video from the User's Album to the Timeline panel below. Right click the thumbnail in the video track and select Audio Detach. Then the original audio will be instantly separated in the audio track. You just need to delete the sound.
You can also mute a YouTube video to get rid of the original audio. To do this, you need right click the video on Timeline Panel and select Mute from the submenu. Then there will be no sound at all. Bear in mind that this option will not separate the sound in the audio track.
