How to cut YouTube video to extract a segment
This tutorial will explain how you can easily cut YouTube videos in three simple steps.
1Load target video to the program
First and foremost, launch the program and load the video you want to cut. There are three ways to add files: click "Import"; click video editor icon in the upper-left corner and select "Add Files"; directly drag-n-drop your videos from local computer to the User's Album.
2Clip a section of your video
Ensure that you have successfully added the video to the program. Subsequently, drag the file you want to cut to the timeline panel. Move the start/end sliders to where you want the video to begin/finish and click the Scissor button at these two points respectively. Besides, you can also split the video via a right-click on the video clip and choose "Split". After cutting, highlight the unwanted part by right-clicking on it and click "Delete" button.
3Save the edited video after cutting
Make sure you have got what you want before clicking "Create" to re-generate the video. In the pop-up window, you can choose any publish channel you like.
By clicking "Format", the video will be saved to your local computer. Here you can change its output format.
