my video isnt full leight! after decoding.. why??? the original video is 2 m and 30 seconds.. after decoding from mov to avi is just 1 minute!

Launch iMovie, click File > New Project to start a project and then click File > Import to load your MOV videos to iMovie. Just that simple! If the videos can't be accepted by iMovie, then the video codec is probably note supported.
I have converted my mpg videos to MOV videos and now I can't drag and drop into iMovie to work with them there. How do I import them? Thanks
