Convert videos to GIF on Windows
Install and run Aimersoft Video Suite on Windows PC and then press the GIF Maker button on the home window. The GIF Maker window will launch immediately.
Next, press the Video to GIF tab at the top of the window and drag and drop your video to upload it. Another method to upload a video is to press the Add Files button at the top-left corner.
After uploading a video successfully, you can trim it to only a few seconds by dragging the sliding handles on the start and stop ends on the timeline. Or, manually enter the Start Time and End Time. After that, enter the GIF pixel dimensions on the Output Size fields and then choose a Frame Rate.
Last but not least, click the File Location menu on the lower-left corner to set a folder path for the GIF file. Finally, press Create GIF to generate your GIF file from a video on Windows PC.
Convert videos to GIF on Mac
Install and run Aimersoft Video Suite on your Mac computer, then click the GIF Maker button on the home window. This will launch the GIF Maker tool immediately.
Next, press the Video to GIF tab, then drag and drop the video to convert to GIF on the workspace. Another way is to click the Add button at the upper-left corner to open Finder and upload a local video file.
After adding a video to the GIF Maker successfully, it’s now time to trim it to ensure just a few seconds of playback. To do that, drag the sliding handles at the beginning and ending points of the timeline. You can set the Start Time and End Time. Now enter the output pixel dimensions on the Size fields and then choose a Frame Rate.
Before converting a video to GIF on Mac, choose a folder path on the File Location menu at the lower-left corner. Lastly, tap Create GIF to generate a GIF file from a video on Mac.
Convert photos to GIF on Windows
After installing and running the software on your PC, press the GIF Maker tab on the home window. You’ll immediately land on the GIF Maker window. Now press the Photos to GIF tab and then drag and drop your image files on the window to upload them. Alternatively, press the Add Files button to open File Explorer and upload local pictures.
After adding photos successfully, you can right-click an image and tap Remove to delete unwanted files. That aside, navigate to the Output Size section and manually enter the pixel resolution for your GIF file. Also, open the Frame Rate menu to select the playback rate.
Are you satisfied with the settings? Well, click the Play icon on the preview screen to crosscheck the GIF file. If satisfied, choose a destination folder on File Location and then press Create GIF. It’s that easy!

Download, install, and run Aimersoft Video Suite on Mac, then hit the GIF Maker tab on the home screen to launch the GIF Maker window.
Now proceed to click the Photos to GIF tab at the top of the GIF Maker window. Then, drag and drop the photos to encode to GIF to upload them. Or, click the Add button to open Finder and add local pictures.
Navigate to the Output size field and manually enter the pixel resolution. In addition, choose the Frame Rate.
Choose a saving folder on File Location, then press Create GIF to convert your photo to GIF on Mac.
