Part 1: How to Compress Video Quickly

If you want to compress only one video, you can go to the Toolbox tab to compress video with easy steps as below.

Run Aimersoft Video Converter Ultimate on your computer. Click the Toolbox tab and select the Video Compress feature.

There will pop- up a Compress video window. Click the + icon to browse video on your local computer. Select the target video and click on the Open button.

Once your video has been loaded, Aimersoft video compressor will detect and show its information of it in this Compress video window. Now you can resize video by dragging the compressing bar. The parameters will change as you move the bar. Alternatively, you can manually change the settings. They are file size, format, quality, resolution, and bit rate.

When the parameters are set, you can click the Preview button to view the compressed video for 20 seconds. Then check or choose a file location for the compressed video. And aAt the last, hit on the Compress button. Aimersoft video compressor will do the rest for you.

Part 2: How to Compress Videos in Batch

If you want to compress multiple videos in one time, you’d better choose the following method.

If you have several videos to compress, you can choose this method to resize videos in batch. First, add Files under the Convert tab.

After adding videos, click the Convert all files to option, and choose an output format for the compressed videos (e.g. MP4). Then click the +Create Custom button to get the Setting window.

Now you can resize the videos in batch by changing video encoder, resolution, frame rate, and bit rate. And you can also change the Audio settings below. Alternatively, you can click the Small Size tab. The program will reduce video size for you automatically. Then click on the Create button.

The changes you made in Step 2 will apply to all of the added videos. Now you can see the compressed size for each video. When you are satisfied with them, click on the Convert All button to compress video in no time. You can find them in the Converted tab.

Tips: You can also use this way to compress a single video. After you choose an output format for it, click the Compress icon. Now you can set the compressing parameters for your target video. Click OK and then the Convert button to let the video compressor reduce video size for you.
