iMusic allows users to copy all songs, including songs purchased from iTunes, downloaded from free apps, streamed from cloud-based software, shared from friends, etc. as well as all kinds of playlists from iPhone, iPod and iPad to iTunes Library.
Download and install iMusic on your Windows PC or Mac. After then, connect your iPhone, iPod or iPad with your computer via a USB cable. When connected successfully, you can see the device appear under the “DEVICE” window.
Note: Before connecting your iPhone, iPod or iPad to your computer, please disable the “automatically sync” in iTunes Preferences first from iTunes Preferences > Devices > uncheck “Prevent iPods, iPhones, and iPads from syncing automatically”, in case of data erasing by iTunes.
Click “DEVICE” in the main window of iMusic. From the device management window, you can see your device is displayed in the left side and there are some options on the right side.
There are 2 ways to transfer music from iPhone/iPod/iPad to iTunes Library.
Option 1: Click to copy all music from iPhone/iPod/iPad to iTunes Library: on the “DEVICE” management window, you can see the option “Transfer Music to iTunes”. Click then all the songs on the device connected to the computer will be transferred to iTunes Library without duplicates, since iMusic will compare the songs on your device with these in iTunes Library, only transferring lacked ones in your iTunes Library.
Option 2: Export selected music from iPhone/iPod/iPad to iTunes Library: Click the music icon on the top left to display all the songs on your device. Check the ones you need to transfer to iTunes Library, right-click on the window to choose “Export to” > “Export to iTunes Library”.
Or after checking the songs, click the export button on the top right, then choose “Export to iTunes Library”.
Playlists, including smart playlists on iPhone, iPod and iPad can be transferred to iTunes Library as well. On the top left windows of the Device management window, click the third icon – the playlist icon to display all playlists on the device. Check the playlists you need and right-click on the window, choose “Export to iTunes Library”.
One of the outstanding features of iMusic is that it allows users to transfer music from Android phones to iTunes Library for better management. The transferring process is very simple and fast.
First, install iMusic on your Mac or Windows PC. Use a digital cable to connect your Android phone with your computer. Once connected successfully, you can see the Android phone appears in the “DEVICE” window.
If the device does not appear, please enable the USB debugging on your phone. Generally speaking, the USB debugging option is in “Settings” > “Developer Options”.
Click “DEVICE” to show the connected device.
Solution 1: If you want to transfer all songs from Android device to your iTunes Library, click the option "Copy Music from Device to iTunes". After then, the all the songs, music video, videos and more are scanned for you. Check the needed files and click "Transfer" to transfer them.
Solution 2: Click the left side music icon followed the device icon to display all songs on the Android device. After then there are 2 options in this step to transfer music from Android phones to iTunes Library .
Option 1: Check the songs on the Android device you need and right click on the window, choose “Export to” > “Export to iTunes Library”.
Option 2: After checking the needed songs, click the Export icon on the top right and choose “Export to” > “Export to iTunes Library”.
If sync music from iTunes to iPhone, iPod or iPad, the existing files on these devices might be erased. iMusic will avoid this by syncing music from iTunes to Apple devices freely. There will be no data erased at all. You can use this way to share music from a computer to a couple of Apple devices (for individual usage only).
Launch iMusic on your computer first. And then, use a digital USB cable to connect your iPhone, iPod or iPad with your computer until you see it appears in iMusic “DEVICE” window.
If it doesn’t appear, please click “Trust this computer” on your Apple device.
Option 1: In the main window of “DEVICE”, you could see an option “Transfer Music from iTunes to Device”. Click it and then select file types you want to transfer. Check the file types and click “Transfer”. Please note, if you have lots of music in iTunes Library, I suggest you option 2 – transfer selected songs.
Option 2: In “ITUNE LIBRARY” window, all songs in iTunes library are displayed there by default. From there, check the songs you want to sync to the Apple device you have connected, then click the export icon on the top right of the window > choose “export to (your device name)”.
You’re able to transfer iTunes music to iPhone, iPod, and iPad by right-click on the window after checking the songs, and choose “Add to” > your device name.
Playlists and videos can be synced to iPhone, iPod and iPad as well in the same window. Just choose the corresponding file type in the top left file type area > check for needed files > export to your device.
iTunes itself never allows users to transfer music from iTunes to Android phones, but iMusic makes it for you. Follow the steps below to transfer music from iTunes Library to your Android devices. Playlists and videos are supported to be added to Android phones as well. Just your preferred media files and add to your Android device.
Connect your Android phone with your computer via its digital cable. Install and launch iMusic on your PC or Mac. The software will automatically detect your Android phone and display it in the “DEVICE” window.
If you can’t find your Android phone in “DEVICE” window, please enable the USB debugging in the Settings menu on your Android phone.
Option 1: In “Device” management window, click the option “Transfer Music from iTunes to Device”. Next, select file types and click “Transfer” to copy files from iTunes Library to your Android phone. Please note it will take a lot of your Android phone storage.
Option 2: In “ITUNES LIBRARY” window, you can see all songs are displayed there by default. If you don’t see any song there, you should click the music icon on the top left side of the software in “ITUNES LIBRARY” window. Check all the songs you want to transfer to the connected Android device. Then choose the option to transfer them you prefer.
Check songs, then right-click on the window to choose “Add to” and then select your device name to finish the transferring process.
