Thanks for the detailed steps on how to turn my files into MP4 format. I am like the least techie person alive - all these different formats can get so confusing. Mostly I just wish everything could be in a few basic simple formats, instead of needing so many different ones!

Hi, Can this file then be imported into iTunes. I have backed up most of my DVD's onto my Time Machine. I did not realize however that they would have to been in my iTunes for my AppleTV to be able to access them. Which I am really annoyed about. Have spent hours searching for an answer. All my movies are in dvd.media format.... Cheers
