Steps to extract music from YouTube videos

1Find the video from YouTube
Run Aimersoft YouTube Downloader for Mac and then go to YouTube to search for the music video you want.
If you are using the Windows version, you are also able to surf YouTube via the built-in browser. After you click the Online Video button on the top of the program, you can open the web browser. Then you are free to visit YouTube or any video-sharing site you like.
2Download YouTube music videos
When you play the video, a Download button will pop up on the right upper corner of the video play window. Click it and then the program will start to download the video you are watching automatically. Alternatively, you can copy the video URL in the web browser and then go back to the program and click on Paste URL on the top left corner.
If you are using a Mac version, there is another way to add YouTube videos to the download queue. That is, directly drag and drop the video URL from the browser into the program.

3Rip music from downloaded YouTube videos
The successfully downloaded videos will be listed under the Downloaded tab (on the left side of the program). In the pop-up window for the output format, you can select Audio > Choose MP3 as the output audio format. Click OK to start the audio ripping process.
