How do you export music from iTunes? There are several methods available on the internet that you can try. We’re going to be introducing you to some tools that you can use to do this for FREE, and we’re even going to teach you how to do it! Starting with the FREE and traditional method of using the iTunes software to export iTunes songs as MP3 files. Then, following it up with a method of doing the same thing (but much more easily) with a third-party software called iMusic.
As mentioned, we’re going to be starting with the FREE iTunes solution of exporting iTunes music to MP3 audio files. This is going to be quite a long process — we need to change our preference settings, consolidate files, and only then will we be able to export it. Trying to export your files in any other way might result in a different formatted audio file (and in some cases, you might not even be able to use it for exporting at all.)
To start this process, we’re going to first make sure that our preferences are set up so that all the files on your iTunes library will instantly be transferred to the iTunes Media folder (in a readable format.) Click the iTunes tab and select the Preferences… option to begin.
A window should appear where you can edit your computer’s preferences. Select the Advanced tab [1.] This is where you can find all the advanced preference settings for your iTunes media folder. The preferences settings that need to be changed are the following: “Keep iTunes Media Folder Organized” and “Copy Files to iTunes Media Folder…”Enable both of the aforementioned options and then press the OK button to save your changes.
Now, we need to change the organize library settings. The organize settings are under the File tab > Library > Organize Library...
Under the Organize Library window, you can turn on the Consolidate Files settings, which will move all the media files used by iTunes to the iTunes media folder.
If you want to find the iTunes Media folder where the MP3 audio files of your iTunes Music are, you can find it under This Mac > iTunes folder.
Next, we’re going to be showing you an easy way of exporting music from iTunes to an Android phone easily with a premium third-party program called iMusic! This is a lot easier than you’d think — even if it might not seem possible at first. This is because iMusic will allow you to automatically connect your Android to your iTunes music library — something that is impossible if you were just using the regular iTunes software. Some prep-work will be needed, but it’s a one-time thing. We’ll be showing you how it all works after going through some of the program’s main features.
Once you’ve finished setting up your Samsung device, you should be able to see the following options under the DEVICE page of iMusic.
Under DEVICE, you can select the Transfer Music from iTunes to Device option in order to export music from your iTunes library to your Android device!
You can pick what you want to transfer by selecting the different media types available, or you can transfer your entire library [1.] Either way, you can finalize the sync by pressing the Transfer button at the bottom right-hand corner of the screen [2.]
To end things, we’re going to be introducing you to 5 other tools that you can use to export music from iTunes. For this, we’re going to be introducing a lot of third-party programs like iMusic! Of course, to make things as accessible as possible, we’ve included the link to the websites where you can get these tools, the price of the program, what computer you can use it for, a screen capture of how the interface looks like, and finally the pros and cons of each program.

Price: $39.95 per year (up to $79.95 per year for business license)
Platform: Windows and Mac
The first program on our list is the dr.fone transfer software. This will work a lot like iMusic when it comes to transferring and syncing items from your iTunes library to your Android and iOS mobile devices. A thing of note, however, you won’t be able to use this for both devices like you would have been able to if you were using iMusic (because there are two separate versions — one for Android and for iOS.) It’s also a lot more expensive than the iMusic program (as payment is subscription-based.)

Price: (Subscription-based) 49.95 per year
Platform: Windows and Mac
Again, we have another iTunes to Android transfer software that is a lot like iMusic. Unfortunately, much like with dr.fone, licenses are offered only in 1-year forms. Which means you’ll have to pay for it every year. It does have all the export tools that dr.fone has — allowing you to sync your iTunes library (including music, videos, contact information, apps, etc.) A Toolbox tab is also offered for helping you manage your current iTunes library.

Cons:
URL: https://www.syncios.com/data-transfer/
Price: $29.95
Platform: Windows and Mac
With Syncios we get a different type of interface — definitely not as intuitive or sleek as the other programs before it. However, it’s pretty cheap, and it offers a lot of the same options offered by dr.fone, iMusic, and iTransfer. The only thing that makes it different is that it’s not as upgraded like the others and it is known to crash constantly (at least when transferring other things aside from music.) It also isn’t completely compatible with other devices, so you’ll need to be careful and make sure that it will work for your other programs.

Price: (Subscription-based) 49.95 per year
Platform: Windows and Mac
For the second-to-the-last iTunes exportation tool, we have Wondershare’s TunesGo. Again, it works pretty much the same way as other programs do. Allowing you to transfer music, videos, photos, and other types of media (for both Android and iOS devices.) Much like with iTransfer, only one-year licenses are available for purchase — that means, you’ll have to repurchase it every year.
Pros:
Cons:
URL: https://toolbox.iskysoft.com/
Price: Starts from $79.95
Platform: Windows and Mac
With this last program, we go back to the stylish and intuitive interface offered by both dr.fone and iTransfer. The difference, however, is the fact that iSkysoft offers a full-license with their Toolbox software. That means, you won’t have to purchase it multiple times in order to use it (just once — for $79.95.)
