How to rotate AVI video 90 degrees
This program is available in Windows and Mac version so you need to ensure that the right version is installed on your computer. The steps and interfaces for AVI rotator in Mac and Windows computer are almost the same.
1Import the file for rotation
Launch the program and then click "Import" button to load your video files. All the videos you have added will be listed in the User's Album. You can reorder them by name duration, type.
2Re-orientate AVI videos
Drag the target video from User’s Album to the Timeline panel. Then the video will be shown as thumbnail in the video track. You can double click on it to open the “Edit” box, where you will find different options available for rotation.
As the following picture shows, these options include rotating videos 90 degrees anticlockwise/clockwise or flipping videos vertically/horizontally. You can choose the option that is best suited for your needs. The preview window will show the rotating results in real time so you need to get the right orientation for the videos.
Note: To turn the video 180° or 270° anticlockwise/clockwise, you only need to click the corresponding button twice or three times.
3Export files after rotating
Click on "Create" button once everything is okay and choose a desired output option. This program allows you to save videos to your local computer, export to mobile devices, upload directly to YouTube and burn to DVDs.

I don't know why I do that, but sometimes I flip the video camera by mistake and record a memorable moment sideways lol. I do that a lot more often with cell phones, but unfortunately I do that with video cameras too. So I got lots of video files that are rotated, but fortunately for me, I was able to rotate all my videos to the correct direction using aimersoft edit video feature. Now I can make mistakes all the time and now feel bad LOL~
